PROJECTS
Some of our favourite completed builds are showcased below for your viewing pleasure.
Enjoy!
PRO434 - Geoff's XY Falcon
“The DDR boys are very fussy, so it’s a lot better than I ever thought it would be” - Geoff, Owner
Starting as a rolling rusty shell and turned into a tarmac tearing showpiece, PRO434 was one of the first full turnkey builds by DDR CUSTOMS. And the results speak for themselves - 434ci Cleveland Block, dressed in DDR's one-off "Grassy Grey" paint.
James' LH Gpak Torana
A simple "tidy up" that slowly morphed into a "Gpak with little more punch". As the owner's first car, this was a passion-project 20 years in the making. Bathed in original Jamaica Lime paint, the lowered stance suggests that this LH has a little more inside, and not just being a really nice specimen from the golden era of GMH.
PopsLX | Jay's LX Torana
As the number plates suggest, this LX Torana has a family connection. A beautiful restoration and tribute to a much-loved Grandfather, "Pop LX" has remained in the family since it rolled off the production line, and now has a lot of new goodies to bring it into the 21st century: mirror-finish drop tank; all-black engine; and lots more, all complementing the existing, original elements.
Dave's LJ GTR Torana Tribute
A Covid-baby of sorts. The owner previously had a Torana as a drag car and since then has always had a desire to build his own, personalised, version when time allowed. So, when the world closed down, the inspiration fired, culminating in this amazing LJ GTR tribute.
Sam's HZ Kingswood Ute
Sam’s HZ is more than just a restoration—it’s a family story. Owned by Sam since new, the HZ had been part of family life for decades before time and use eventually took their toll. As a surprise for his 70th birthday, Sam’s family secretly brought the car to DDR Customs for a complete revival. Months later, the finished HZ was unveiled, restored to its former glory and back on the road where it belongs.
